Worldwide Financial Planning is a team of Chartered Financial Planners and Independent Financial Advisers working from our offices in Cornwall, Somerset, Southampton and Northern Ireland. We are a team of people who care, are kind, trustworthy, honest, reassuring and innovative.
Our firm is big enough to matter and small enough to care. We put our clients’ needs first and we treat our clients fairly. Worldwide Financial Planning is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

We are independent financial advisers specialising in Retirement Planning, Investments, Equity Release, Inheritance Tax, Mortgages, Protection, Long Term Care and Business Finance.

Our teams of independent financial advisers are based in Cornwall, Southampton, Somerset and Northern Ireland and our clients are based all over the UK.

Our Connection To Our Community
We are firm of people who are very active in the local communities which surround us. For as long as we have existed we have been involved in contributing positively to help people as much as we can – be that raising money for our NHS, for local charities which support young and vulnerable people, cancer charities and homelessness among others.
We are well known for championing the ‘Buy Local’, ‘Think Local’ message – perhaps our most high profile endorsement was sponsoring the Western Morning News Think Local campaign as far back as 2008 – a campaign which encouraged people to spend their money in their local towns and villages. We still continue to endorse this message today.
How We Work With You
We advise clients who are based in the UK. If you don’t live in the UK, or are planning to move abroad to live, there may be restrictions on how we can advise you. We will treat you as a ‘retail client’ which means you will receive the highest level of protection under the regulatory system and should have the right take any complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). Your Financial Planning Journey
Your journey starts with a personal consultation at no cost to you. This enables us to understand your financial and life objectives and agree how we may be able to help you. Once we understand your objectives, and you ask us to help create or amend your financial plan, we will ask you to sign a Client Agreement. A Client Agreement gives us the necessary authority to act on your behalf. We will then gather all the information we need to develop a bespoke plan which is fully aligned to the prioritised objectives we have agreed with you.
Our recommendations will be presented to you in a written report giving you an opportunity to fully digest what we are recommending before we put the plans in place. There is a charge for our work in compiling this report even if you decide not to proceed with our recommendations. We will agree the cost of our advice and options for payment in advance meaning there are no hidden surprises.
After agreeing the recommendations we assist you in putting the plan into action.
We offer an on-going review process, which allows us to monitor the performance and continuing suitability of your financial plan, during which we will provide you with an annual breakdown of aggregated costs/charges, to show you their impact on the returns you may receive. If you sign up to our on-going review service there will be a charge of no more than one per cent per annum of the value of your invested funds. Exact charges will be agreed with you and confirmed in writing before we begin work for you.
