Dave Larkins is an independent financial adviser with Worldwide Financial Planning with a focus on Business Finance, Inheritance Tax, Investments, Life Insurance Advice, Pensions, Protection Policies

Dave Larkins, who lives in Somerset near the beautiful Quantock Hills, is one of the longest serving members of our team. He joined us on January 3, 2000, as an independent financial adviser, having worked for Albany Life which is where he first met Peter, our CEO.

Dave says it’s remarkable to see how the industry has changed over the years from being an industry which was highly sales driven to one that is heavily regulated.

Dave says all of the changes which have filtered down into the industry over the years are so positive because it has given the profession the credibility it warrants by putting clients’ needs first.
Being one of the longest serving members of our team means Dave still has clients he started with dating back to the 1980s.

He says Worldwide Financial Planning is excellent at retaining clients because people know us and trust our research. His wide range of clients include individuals with over £1million of investments. Dave predominantly focuses on personal finance. He also advises medium sized businesses on their group pensions and helps clients meet their individual savings and protection needs.

Dave says he enjoys the mutual respect which is nurtured in Worldwide Financial Planning including his relationships with his clients but also the relationships he has with his colleagues across our different offices. He loves the team approach and fully endorses our corporate social responsibility activity.

Dave has two daughters and a foster daughter. When he is not working he thoroughly enjoys walking and outdoor activities and especially loves walking in the Quantock Hills and Snowdonia. He sings in the choir and is well known for his open mic nights where he sings and plays his guitar. He loves gig racing, canoeing, cycling, DIY projects and camping.
