Matt Dewhurst is Worldwide Financial Planning’s Company Secretary based in Truro, Cornwall. 

Matt Dewhurst is our company secretary and also sits on our board alongside our CEO and managing director.

Matt, who lives in Truro and is based in our Truro office, looks after a wide range of tasks including financial control, HR, IT and System Developments which span across our offices.

Matt is also key to ensuring Worldwide Financial Planning is as sustainable as we can possibly be as a business. He works closely with our senior management team to ensure our business approach is about creating long term value by taking into consideration how Worldwide operates in the ecological, social and economic environment. Matt is, and continues to be, instrumental in ensuring that sustainability is not only considered during every decision made at Worldwide Financial Planning, but implemented.

Matt’s role is critical to ensure we address the gap between knowing and doing by embracing sustainable business practices. Along with our senior management team Matt will be looking at how sustainability provides for the present needs without compromising the needs of the future generations.

He says the team he works with are a fantastic group of people who care about our clients. The team is client centric, has access to the best fund research and has a genuine interest in helping people, not just our clients but also each other and also the wider community. Matt says Worldwide is not just a brand – it’s a team of people who care and put the needs of others first. He has also been heavily involved in our corporate social responsibility initiatives including fundraising for the NHS.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys family time, mountain biking, kayaking and all things outdoors.
