Peter McGahan is the CEO of Worldwide Financial Planning and a newspaper columnist offering expert analysis on a variety of financial issues
Peter McGahan has spent over 34 years in financial services helping individuals, organisations and businesses with a variety of financial matters.
He left Northern Ireland when he was 19 and moved to Cornwall where he bought a home, got married, had three daughters and became a prominent person in the business community.
He set up Worldwide Financial Planning in 1999 creating a firm of financial advisers who provide bespoke financial advice to individuals, their families and businesses.
Our firm is a trusted multi-award-winning national firm of financial advisors, having won the prestigious “Investment Advisor of the Year” award and amassed 16 FT awards over just four years.
Over the years, our firm has built its reputation for caring for our people, putting our clients first, helping our community and championing the United Nations’ Strategic Development Goals. Sustainable economies and societies are hugely important to Peter. In December 2020, he was recognised as the third most influential Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) social media influencer in the world.
He is a columnist for newspapers in the UK – columns which you can read here – which offer expert analysis on a variety of financial issues. His columns, which are published across several Reach PLC titles and the Irish News, guide clients towards excellent investment opportunities and saves others from financial heartache.
Peter lives on the coast in Kerry, Ireland, with his wife Mandy, three daughters and their dogs. When Peter is not working he absolutely loves travelling with his family, meeting new people and very much loves going off the beaten track. He adores food, runs marathons, lives as sustainable a life as he can, grows his own food as much as possible and enjoys entertaining his friends.
